When you receive your IPTV access, several formats may be offered. They all give you the same content — only the way you connect changes.

Xtream Codes API

The most convenient format: a username, a password and a server URL. It works with most apps (IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate…) and automatically loads the TV guide, movies and series.

M3U link

A single link containing the whole channel list. It works with almost every player, including VLC on a computer, but it’s a little less convenient for movies and series.

MAG portal

For MAG boxes (and some apps like STBEmu): access is tied to your device’s MAC address and a portal URL.

Which one should you choose?

  • Smart TV, Fire TV, Android, iPhone: Xtream Codes
  • Computer with VLC: M3U
  • MAG box: MAG portal
